Three down, one to go!
Part of my surgery included insertion of four drains. Essentially they are tubes that intertwined in my chest, exited out under my arm pits and lead to a grenade sized ‘container’. April 20th, 2011 around 1:15pm I was officially diagnosed with breast cancer. I had known for awhile, I’m one of those “feel it in your stomach people” of which I had since I found the lump.
